Abstract

Clastic rock is the main type of reservoir rock developed in netritic sedimentary environment in Permo-Carboniferous of Jiyang Depression. Analysis of thin section and scanning electron microscopy indicate that the main diagenesis includes compaction, cementation, alteration, dissolution and fracturing, etc. On the basis of styles of superimposed residual formation and burial history, combined with palaeo-geotemperature, factors of organic thermal evolution, transformation serial of clay minerals and authigenic minerals, these reservoirs can be classified as two types, the one is the palaeo-burial depth that is equal to present burial depth and the another is the palaeo-burial depth that is deeper than present. The former one is during the middle and late diagenetic stages, the later is during the middle diagenetic A and B stages. The reservoirs have the characteristic of complex diagenetic evolution sequences and diverse diagenetic environments caused by multiphase tectonic activities, which controls the diagenetic evolution history, the porosity evolution history and the capability of the reservoirs.
