Abstract

According to sieve residue log description, thin section analysis, conventional logging data, the sensitivity and response of different volcanic rocks on the log parameter are analyzed. The correspondence between conventional log parameters and different volcanic rocks has been studied by statistical method and a plate of the relationship of resistivity, natural gamma with the lithology has been established. The relationship of the Carboniferous volcanic lithology, lithofacies and distribution characteristics with the accumulated hydrocarbon at Block-6 to Block-9 in Karamay Oil Fields has also been studied further.
