Abstract

A geological in terpretation is done to the beads-shaped seismic reflectors shown in deep-buried Ordovician Yingshan-3 to -4 carbonate reservoirs with anisotropiy, which are selected in a 3-D seismic survey target area in Gucheng Low Uplift. A series of seismic interpretation technology are used to predicting the rule of reservoir distribution in plane, the fault and fracture distribution zones, and the beads-shaped reflector zones, as well as detecting hydrocarbon. Based on these integrative predictions, some favorable drilling targets in the reservoirs are evaluated and elected in this seismic target area. The fact that commercial gas flow was obtained from the Well-A that was arranged to drill into the Yingshan-3 dolostone reservoir has proved effectiveness of this integrative seismic predictions.
