In order to promote the sustainable development of the journal, attract more excellent manuscripts, and reflect the knowledge and creative value of authors, Marine Origin Petroleum Geology will start charging a small amount of publication fee since the second issue of 2024, while significantly increasing the remuneration standards for papers. The publication fee is charged at a standard of 300 yuan per page. The royalty is subject to different standards based on the author's academic title: 100 yuan per page for an ordinary author; 200 yuan per page for professoriate title author; 500 yuan per page for specially invited author or academician author.
